We are seeking a full-time solicitor to join our team, focusing on Estate Planning and Probate. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a well-respected and supportive firm.


About the Role

The successful candidate will have 5 to 8 years post-admission experience. You will advise clients predominantly in Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration matters, which will include:

  • Seeing clients at our Miranda and/or Engadine offices or by appointment in our city office, attending home visits (including at home, in hospital, and aged care facilities);
  • Drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Appointments of Enduring Guardian;
  • Advising clients on preparation of Testamentary Trust Wills;
  • Experience highly regarded in reviewing companies, trusts, business structures and self-managed superannuation funds for Estate Planning purposes;
  • Taking instructions from our clients and drafting and preparing Probate and Letters of Administration Applications; and
  • Assisting with Administration of Estates

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An enthusiasm for Wills & Estates and assisting clients;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Wills & Estates;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of our supportive, friendly team;
  • Willingness and skills to assist with Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation matters as required;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong understanding of file and risk management; and 
  • Time management skills.
